Technology Architect

As a Technology Architect, you conduct analysis of the technological needs of the organization’s infrastructures. You specifically cover technological aspects while also considering security and telecommunications aspects, ensuring the stability of operational services and compliance with enterprise architecture standards, guides, and norms.

You work on projects where you provide expertise in the operation of technologies with a focus on performance, robustness, scalability, disaster recovery, security, and compliance. You are responsible for documenting the details of the infrastructure components comprising the solution, evaluating the project’s impact on systems and links, and ensuring that tools and rules are in place to meet operational functional needs.

A strong knowledge of technologies is an essential skill. You play an advisory role with projects and various stakeholders in terms of integration and alignment, requiring effective communication and demonstrating an understanding of the needs of different stakeholders.

Desired Profile:

• DEC in a relevant discipline.
• A minimum of six years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in spoken and written French.

Specific Knowledge:

• Good knowledge of VMware and/or Windows and/or Linux and/or SQL Server and/or Oracle.
• Good knowledge in telecommunications (firewall, load balancer, VLAN, etc.).
• Good knowledge in security (firewall, security zone structures, directory security, access management, etc.).
• Good knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall and Agile).
• Middleware knowledge (an asset).
• Knowledge in micro-segmentation, specifically NSX (an asset).
• Knowledge of Azure technologies (an asset).
• Knowledge in Mainframe, MQ, or AIX (an asset).
• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts IAAS, PAAS, CAAS (an asset).
